Rajini is Great… Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai was lost in her thoughts. The sound “Camera …. Action” from film director Maniratnam brought her out to the world. They were in the middle of Kerala’s Wayanad FOREST.  That freshness in the air, no smoke, no pollution, no building, no trace of human beings and the very sight of that untouched region of the dense forest would take anybody to few centuries back. It exactly depicted the ‘Vanam’ of scriptures. There were no HUTs, no SAINTs and no DISCIPLEs. Maniratnam and his unit were busy on making their Tamil–Hindi film “Raavan”–“ Asoka Vanam”.

She was puzzled. She saw Abhishek bachchan standing at a distance and ordering some body and Vikram practicing and improving upon his next dialogue delivery. She QUESTIONED herself, “Everything is there, but something else of ‘that man’ is missing in these people. What is that? In fact, I didn’t speak much with him during my schedules at shooting spots of the film “Robot”. Still something of him has moved me and my very core got changed. The way he respected every individual in the set has changed my eyes towards people. Hey, I become somebody else. This is not me. This is a new in me. I love this new me”.

Hearing this Camera man Manikandan said, “Madam, That’s Rajini Kanth!  That’s why your father-in-law Amitaph Bachan has told in the NDTV interview “Rajini is Great, he is not only the super star, he is also a super character. Character makes all the matter memsaab !”

Nodding her head Aishwarya SMILED and her mouth murmured “Yes, Character makes all the matter! Rajini is great!”
